IMPACTING LIVES

A long-standing theme for Vala Secure is “Impacting Lives”. In addition to being a company delivering services to our clients, our mission is to find ways to impact our communities, our clients’ communities, and our world. We have a HeartBeat committee that meets on a regular basis to seek out ways we can get more involved. Here are just a few examples of impacting lives, whether it be with our time, money or simply helping an employee in need.

Habitat for Humanity

North Collin County Habitat for Humanity is a faith-based housing ministry that seeks to alleviate substandard housing and provide opportunities for low-income, working families to purchase homes through a self help model of homeownership.

Freedom Service Dogs

Freedom Service Dogs is one of the only organizations in the USA to rescue dogs from shelters, custom train them for service and provide them to clients at no cost. They provide well-trained service dogs to military veterans, children with autism and people with mobility disabilities to handle life tasks which enable them to regain their independence.

2016 Invictus Games

We sponsored a gym membership for our fellow Garland Hearter Jaime Garza to train for the 2016 Invictus Games for Wounded Warriors. It was well worth it, especially since Jaime won a Gold medal for the Discus Throw! Each and every one of the men & women of our Armed Forces who participated in this event are an inspiration!
